I bought this book last year from a Book Exhibition. I didn't know about the writer, I just read the paper back and bought it.
"It Had To Be You", the story gathers around the girl who is age of 30 years and get dumped by his not ready to commit boyfriend at the stage of a costume party in front of thousand of people. That accident has been caught on camera and
Lizzy Spellman becomes the YouTube most viewed person on earth. This accident made
Lizzy in humiliation and she stayed home for many days.
Elliot Anderson, the most arrogant person according to
Lizzy. He is a TV sensation due to his reviews on city economics.
Lizzy Spellman, works in
PR Havan and deal with clients who have new ideas for market.
Lizzy sends mail to many journalist for the pitching of her client's products, one day he got reply from
Elliot that she is a waste of time and she replied some harsh words, later she came to know that He was the
Elliot. She thinks she can dig her grave.
Lizzy and her friends (
Nic and Poppet) visit to town side and accidentally meet
Elliot's mother
Cassandra.
Cassandra is worried about his son because
Elliot's engagement was no more. He lost her
Amber, his fiance.
Cassandra asked
Lizzy to look out for
Elliot and make him feel good.
Lizzy tried to talk but
Elliot, being an arrogant person, he didn't want to talk about anything related to his breakup.
But after some days,
Lizzy got an email in which
Elliot asked her to meet to discuss his feelings. First they didn't go along well but then they fell something in their heart wants each other. They confessed their feeling for each other and started to enjoy their life.
Then some ups and downs (spoiler) in a story but at the end, they live with each other.

The Worst Breakup Ever....
But it was the best starting of Lizzy Spellman's life.
It was basically my first chic-list, but it was awesome, the problem faced by a girl in her love life as well as in her professional life defined very elegantly.
Elliot Anderson, one of the cynical male, nut the love has turned that hard rock in melting candle. I think this book deserves a read.
All the things about story are well settled, there's no loop in story, writer explained it well and cover all the sub stories.
